Whatever it takes to get the shot.
Hours of planning, days of work, thousands of dollars in equipment, software and training, all combine to create one perfect moment that will live forever.
Gyst Services have been producing commercial photography and print media for many years, running corporate photo shoots for brochures, trade shows and product catalogues, as well as informal event photography and portrait sessions. Please check out the galleries above for some examples, and call if you have any questions or would like to arrange a booking.
For corporate events, business and family portraits, group, birthday or retirement parties, we are most definitely the ones to talk to. If you want a unique collection of candid, funny, heart-warming, tear-jerking imagery, we will mingle with your guests and capture the essence of the event forever. Gyst have covered rock concerts, dinner dances, business networking events and press meetings. We were official photographers for the Bikers Rights Organization of Southern Ontario (BRO) Autmun Bash in 2012 and 2013. We were also commisioned by the City of Port Colborne to photograph the annual Canal Days event from a unique viewpoint: the Clarence Street Bridge operations room, seen above in the middle of the bridge.
Gyst recently moved into wedding photography as you can see by the album elsewhere on this site. Our style is informal and casual. If this suits the style of images you want for your wedding album, get in touch. Of curse, we also get the formal shots, but our experienced eyes will also capture the essence of your families, your guests and the wedding party itself during the whole day.
In our humble opinion, a wedding is too important to entrust to anything less than a professional wedding photographer or team, so don't skimp. Because ten years from now, you may have forgotten the name of the minister, the florist or even the caterer, but you will never forget a wedding photo album full of poor quality images. You will be looking at those photos for the rest of your life, and you only get one shot at them: we recommend budgeting for a real wedding photographer, whether you choose Gyst or not. It really is worth the extra outlay. Those photos are the memories your children and grandchildren will inherit.
